SKEMS - Region II will coordinate examination sites for FR
and EMT-B courses, on an as needed basis, to accommodate the testing of
students.
In order to schedule a site, Instructor/Coordinators and
Training Officers II need to contact the Region II office at least 30 days
in advance of the time they wish the examination to be held. I/Cs will be
asked to provide a location for the exam, equipment that is necessary for
the practical exam, site assistants and patients.
In Southwest Kansas, courses generally begin in the fall or
winter and are completed by spring or early summer. The majority of
examinations in Region II have been held between November and June. Any
students from across the state may attend the examinations. They are asked
to contact Region II by phone or email as early as possible in advance of
the scheduled exam date.
For the convenience of the students and instructors,
information regarding the Regional Councils is included. All of the four
Regions provide examination opportunities across the state. The Regional
EMS Councils in cooperation with the Kansas Board of EMS provide the
examinations.
